Well, the results are in ... Jim got a blue ribbon for his 'fog' photo. The judge made a very nice comment on the back of the claim ticket. It said that the photo had great light contrast but to try to get the focus in better.... I think it would have come out a little 'crisper' if we had sent it to Walmart to print, Jim printed it on his printer. You can see the printer lines if you look real close. Otherwise, it is an awesome pic, I really like the colors. We took some pics of some spider webs, too, some of those came out pretty cool.
No pics today... maybe the next post..... Take care everybody. (p.s. back to work in just 4 days, I am not ready. However, 1/2 of my bedroom is clean, the chicken house is ready for the 4 hens I am getting on Monday, and all the trash is moved away from the house which is getting ready to be painted. Can't wait for that project to be done!! And tomorrow is the last day I will have to be at the county fair. It has been a busy week!)
p.s.s. Did you know you can post a comment, here? Just look below the line, there will be the word 'comment' click on that and you can write a comment about the post. I am not sure, but you may have to sign in. If you don't want to do that, then just email me. I love hearing from all of you.

ReplyDeleteHi Becci, Deb here in Ohio. Photography is also a passion of mine! My son, Matthew, in RI is quite talented in photography. You may remember my little sister, Pattie. She has a son, Rob, who is a marine. He has done two tours of Iraq and now is headed to Afghanistan...we hate it.
ReplyDeleteI am so envious of your farm...I would LOVE to live somewhere like that, I guess we are always going to be small town girls :).
Will bookmark you blog to keep in touch. Deb Felton(Peters).
So glad you found your way here.... It is our little piece of heaven.
ReplyDeleteNick did one tour in Iraq. Our friend in Phx. has a marine who has done 3 in Iraq and now in Afghanistan, it is not fun at all. I just keep praying for all our men and women over there, and that Nick will not have to be one of them.
Hey Becci!
ReplyDeleteLoved the photo too.
You'll hafta swing on by our blog & leave a comment or two.
